Weekly Update 10/22/23 – 10/28/23

The Freshman Football season has completed. They should turn their equipment in this week. Coach Larson will be collecting equipment Monday (tomorrow) after school in the east gym 3;15 – 3:45. If they have me for weights class they can turn their equipment in during class.

IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE WASHED OR CLEANED.

They should have the following items to turn in:
HELMET
SHOULDER PADS
KNEE PADS
BELT
PRACTICE PANTS
PRACTICE JERSEY
ORANGE GAME JERSEY
WHITE GAME JERSRY
GAME PANTS

Once a player is no longer practicing they have two weeks to turn in their checked out items. Items not turned in by Nov 2, 2023 will be reported as lost and your student is billed. *approximately $800 – $1,000 in total value.

There are some Sophomores who are done as well and their equipment should be turned in also. The longer players keep things the more likely they are to misplace items. Please ask your son if he has turned his stuff in.

A few freshmen have been invited to practice with the varsity team for the remainder of their season. If they plan to do so, the daily schedule next week is as follows:
MON, TUE
3:15 – 4:00 team meetings
4:00 – 6:10 practice

WED
3:15 – 3:45 team meetings
3:45 – 4:45 practice
4:45 – 5:30 team meeting

THURS
3:15 – 4:25 team meetings
7:00 – 9:30 game

JV will play tomorrow, Monday at CBAC at 6:00pm against SM Northwest. They will meet in the east gym at 3:45. They will wear their NAVY Under Armour jerseys and white game pants.

Varsity playoffs start this week. We are playing Wyandotte on Thursday at 7:00pm at CBAC.
