Week 3

Practice Schedule: Due to high temperatures this week, there will be some adjustments to the practice schedule.  On MONDAY and TUESDAY, JV and Varsity will start at 5:45am on the turf field. We will practice until 7:00am. The Varsity players will have brief meetings after school but will be done by 3:30pm. Freshman will practice after school in the east gym from 2:50 – 5:00pm. A decision about the rest of the week (Wednesday and Thursday) will be made on Monday during the school day. I will send that information our via email.
Jamboree: A jamboree is a four-team preseason scrimmage. Ours will take place this Friday, August 30! We will scrimmage with Olathe Northwest, Basehor-Linwood, and Shawnee Mission West. The Freshman Jamboree will be at Olathe Northwest high school at 6:00pm. Freshman will be done around 7:30pm and back at Olathe East by 8:00pm. There is no cost to attend the Freshman Jamboree. The JV will start at CBAC at 6:00pm with the Varsity to follow at 8:00pm. They will be done around 9:30pm and back at school by 10:00pm. The cost to attend is $5 for adults, and $3 for students.
We have a half-day of school Friday. School will end at 10:55am. All students will have to leave the building. Players will need to return and be back in the locker room to dress by 3:00pm. Team busses will depart at 4:00pm. The JV and Varsity should be finished and back at Olathe East by 10:00pm.
Spirit Wear: If you previously purchased spirit wear and did not pick it up on Saturday, it is in my office. You or your son can pick it up any day of the week (times may vary).

Next weekend is Labor Day Weekend. Meaning that it is the beginning of Game Week 1. We will have practice on Labor Day. Freshman practice will be from 3:00 – 5:30pm. JV and Varsity will start meetings at 2:00pm and practice from 3:00 – 5:30pm as well.
