2019 Mulch Order Form

Do not forget to put the player’s name on each order form so they get proper credit.

If you are printing out the forms and having customers complete them as you are selling door to door, print the 2019 Mulch Order Form.  It will list the Street/Terr/Ct/Cir that the player must circle. The more accurate the information is on the order forms, the easier and quicker it will be to deliver mulch.

March 8, 2019: Last day to turn in order forms at the OE Front Office. Forms must be turned in by end of day. This is the last day of school before SPRING BREAK
March 10, 2019: Last day to turn in order forms at Steve Slade’s house: 11679 Bradshaw Street, Overland Park, KS 66210

Mulch Delivery Day

March 30, 2019:  Delivery day is Saturday, March 30th.  Bring your pickup trucks and trailers – all players are needed to help deliver!

Expectations

Each player is expected to sell at least 35 bags of mulch and attend one of the three selling days.
The money raised from the mulch sale benefits the OE football team by helping pay for
equipment, transportation, snacks &meals, scholarships, etc.
The Mulch Fundraiser is our primary method of raising funds for the Booster Club and ultimately the players. Our expectation
is to have one representative from EVERY player’s family participate in the delivery process – whether it be on delivery day itself or one of the many important tasks leading up to or post delivery day.

If a player sells more than 35 bags, he will earn a discount on his camp fees, as well as helping to
pay Booster Club Dues, and part of team camp.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top sales people.  A minimum of 100 bags of mulch must be sold to be eligible for a prize.  An award will be given to the top seller in each grade level and an overall seller.  You can only win once.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you having this sale?  There are over 60 current freshman, sophomore, and junior athletes involved in the Olathe East Hawks Football program.  This sale is the collective effort of parents and players to raise funds to support the Olathe East Football Program.

What products are you selling?  We are selling first quality, grade A products.

What size bags are you selling?  Our mulch products come in 2 cubic-foot bags.

How much area will 1 bag cover?  Each bag should cover approximately 24 square inches – 2 inches deep.

What is the money going to be used for?  All money goes directly to the OE Football program and players.  The Booster Club has established a scholarship fund as a resource for our college bound students.  The profits also go towards providing team meals, player equipment and weight room improvements, as well as the scholarships.

Who will decide how the profits are spent?  The Booster Club works with Coach Owen to supplement program needs and provides scholarships to graduating Seniors.
